Challenges in technology to satisfy enterprise needs in 2013 and expectations
UMB has focused on a growth plan accepting business diversity, which has permitted us to become a modified financial services company with multi-billion dollar benefit. The challenge is that assortment has made data management complex. To realize success in cross-selling, we would have liked to actually understand the customer and therefore the relationship, but we struggled with a standard view of what the customer seemed like across different channels, markets, and products.

We developed a technique with a core mission statement to be the ‘Technology Broker of Choice’. When our associates have a drag or a selected need, they don’t get to come to us with a solution. they have to return to us as a trusted advisor and that we can work together to seek out a technological solution to a business problem.
